Countryside or Coast? No need to choose.

We absolutely love living in the glorious Devon countryside, surrounded by spectacular views of rolling hills, and roaming cattle, but we’re also spoilt by being less than 10 miles from the beautiful North Devon coastline too!

Sandymouth bay is our closest beach, and what a beauty it is. Miles of stunning sand, with the backdrop of dramatic cliffs, and if the tide is out you can even walk the 2 miles to Crooklets beach in Bude!

Sandymouth is also a dog friendly beach, and our little spaniel, Bailey, loves to swim in the rock pools and dash along the sand with her ears flying in the wind.

Once we’ve built up an appetite and Bailey is worn out, we head up to the lovely little beach cafe which serves the most delicious food. We’re gradually working our way through their menu, (for research purposes for our guests of course ).
