There's plenty to do in the beautiful grounds of Mill Farm and guests are welcome to explore. As you walk around the stunning lake you will find several places to sit and relax while you take in the views, with the Riverside Retreat being the perfect spot to listen to the sounds of the River Waldon as it gently ambles by...The Kingfisher can often be spotted from here too! (Guest have exclusive use of the lake for fishing and you can find out more here). 
From the lake you can walk further up into to the fields, where you will discover the entrance to the cosy campfire area. A wonderfully sheltered spot to get away from it all during the day, at night, this area transforms into a romantic haven, with twinkling fairy lights. Finally, as you make your way to the top of the hill there's a picnic bench, where you can enjoy the most amazing views out over Mill Farm and the beautiful Devonshire countryside beyond.
