Dog Friendly Holidays in Devon

We welcome dogs here at Mill Farm, and each property is suitable for up to two labrador-sized dogs — we may accept more if they’re smaller. Just get in touch to discuss what you need.

The gardens are all fenced with 6ft solid wood on either side, and low wire mesh on the rest, deliberately kept low so it doesn’t spoil the views. A lead is required anywhere outside your own enclosed garden, and each garden has its own lawn — so night-time toilet trips are easy.

We provide sofa covers so your furry family members can snuggle up and watch TV with you — we just ask that dogs stay off the beds.

With dog bowls, an outside dog wash and even biscuit treats for your dogs we think they’ll enjoy their holiday as much as you will.

Several sandy beaches are close by, including Sandymouth beach, which is dog-friendly all year round.

Walks, beaches & the local pub

Dogs are welcome to explore the grounds — a peaceful walk around the lake and up into the fields for far-reaching countryside views.

We just ask that dogs are kept under control and on a lead please as we are surrounded by farm animals and we have other guests to consider.

Happily, you will also find that our local pub The Bradworthy Inn, (which is just a 5 min stroll away), is also dog friendly, and as well as a local pint, you can also enjoy a delicious meal in the bar with your four-legged friends.

We ask please that your dogs are never left unattended in the property or garden and should they be unable to accompany you on an activity, we would be happy to provide you with details of several local day boarding kennels.

All dogs must be over 1 year old — see our terms and conditions for full details.
